Hello All
We have arrived safely in Galway and immediately immersed ourselves in the Volvo Ocean Race Festival. 24 students and 3 staff attended a free concert in the Race Village at the docks in Galway last night with approximately 50,000 of our closest friends, at least they were friends by the end of the evening. From university students to babies to children on dad's shoulders, the entire breadth of the population was represented. It was very crowded but an experience like nothing we had seen before. Our entire group is in class this morning and all of us are heading to the 4th of July parade and fireworks this evening. This is an amazing time to be in Galway. Stay tuned for updates...
