Sixteen of us attended the Lady Antebellum concert in Dublin last night. The concert was held in the historical Olympia Theatre which seats only approximately 1600 people making for a small and fairly intimate venue. The ambience for the sold out concert was fabulous and the band was amazing. I have attached a couple of pictures from my blackberry - not great quality but they will give you the feel for the event.
Many of the students who stayed home played rugby on the beautiful sports field close to our residence. It stays light here until late in the evening making for excellent opportunities to use the facilities outside. All in all a successful evening for everyone after a day of classes followed by a trip to the Guinness Storehouse.
